How can I register?
Registration is only possible online. Registration by phone call, fax or e-mail is not possible. Online payments can be transferred by credit card, money transfer, LSV or debit. When registering online it is possible to contract an insurance for annulation of the registration. All Online registrations will be confirmed by Datasport by e-mail.

Engadin Skimarathon / Half Marathon: Provided there are still free starting places available, the online registration will be open until Friday, 9 March 2018, 12pm. After that entries are only possible at the race office at the starting bib distribution site in St. Moritz-Bad (Health Spa Centre) until 5 pm, Saturday, 10 March 2018.
Women's Race: Provided there are still free starting places available, the online registration will be open until Online registration will close on Friday, 2 March 2018, 12 pm. After this date entries are possible only at the race office at the starting bib distribution site in Samedan (Promulins Arena) until 6 pm, Saturday, 3 March 2018.
Engadin Night Race: Provided there are still free starting places available, the online registration will be open until Wednesday, 7 March 2018, 12 pm. After this date entries are possible only at the race office at the starting bib distribution site in St. Moritz-Bad (Health Spa Centre) until 5 pm, Thursday, 8 March 2017.
Is it possible to start in a different starting block?
First time competitors who offer proof of ranking with their entries (Swiss Loppet or Worldloppet) may be allowed to start in a front group. The same rule is valid for competitors who have not participated in the Engadin Skimarathon for the last two years.
The request must be made by filling out the form online after the online registration and after paying the starting fee. The event organizer has sole responsibility for determining the starting order and will confirm the assigned starting block by e-mail. Qualifications of participation in the last two years are valid and cannot be changed.
How much is the entry fee?
The amount of the starting fee depends on the time of payment/registration:

The € price may be adjusted on short notice according to the development of the exchange rate.
Payments received into the specified Engadin Skimarathon accounts after the cut-off days will incur a penalty fee, payable when the starting bib is collected. IMPORTANT: Cash only on Sunday morning in Maloja (Enagdin Skimarathon).
How can I reach the Engadin Valley?
The train is the best means of transportation. Transportation with Rhaetian Railway from all Rhaetian Railway train stations in canton grisons to St. Moritz/ Pontresina/Samedan (return ticket, second class) included. The trip from Landquart - Chur is included on Rhaetian Railway trains only. The required personalized electronical special ticket will be sent by e-mail together with the starting bib voucher. The journey to the Engadin needs to take part between 3 and 11 March 2018 (Women's Race between 1 and 4 March 2018), return journey no later than 13 March 2018 (Women's Race 6 March 2018).

Where can I sleep?
From end of October the office of the Engadin Skimarathon can arrange inexpensive dormitories in civil defence centres and school buildings. Detailed information as well as the booking form can be found on our website (journey and stay). Payment for dormitories must be made by mid-February at the latest. A refund is not possible.

Can someone else collect my starting bib?
Yes, this person needs to bring along your voucher for the starting bib (printed out or electronic on a mobile phone).
How can I get to the start area?
Engadin Skimarathon / Half Marathon: Please use the public transport to get to the start. Only very limited parking available.
Women's Race: Please travel by train to Samedan. The start area is within walking distance (5 minutes) from the train station.

By what time do I need to hand in my bag with my personal belongings?
Please hand in your bag at the latest by 08:00 am (starting blocks Elite, Elite A, B, C), 08:45 am (starting blocks main class A, B, C and general class) / 9:30 am (Women's Race) / 06:45 pm (Night Race) to the truck corresponding to your starting number. Only official bags deposited in the trucks will be transported.
What is the food offer along the course?
There are food stations in Silvaplana, Pontresina, Bever, La Punt Chamues-ch, Zuoz and in the finish area.
Can I finish the race in Pontresina if I do not wish to continue?
Competitors who have registered for 42 km are allowed to finish the race after 21 km in Pontresina. They will be officially ranked in the half marathon. Participants who have registered for 21 km must finish the race in Pontresina. Otherwise, they will be ranked neither for 21 km nor for 42 km.
Where can I party after the race?
The Marathon Party is taking place directly in the finish area in S-chanf. Participants, supporters, guests and volunteers have the possibility to "recharge their batteries" at the Pasta-Party and to celebrate their achievement with live music.
Is there any refund of the entry fee if a person is prevented from participation for any reason?
If you cancel before the 31st of December the entry fee will be credited for the next years’ race (no refund). If you cancel after December 31, NO refund will be given. We recommend to take out insurance for this case (for example directly when registering online).
Competitors may also transfer their entry to a person of their choice. For this an administration fee of CHF 40.- / EUR 38.- will be charged.
Participants with insurance
In case of illness or accident the insured participant has to apply to the below mentioned insurance company directly for reimbursement of the starting fee. If the application is accepted the insured participant will receive a voucher issued by Datasport in the value of the insured amount.
