Cologna wins!

Dario Cologna wins the 42th Engadin Skimarathon. Second came Daniel Tynell (SWE) before Christophe Perrillat (FRA).

Susanne Nyström (SWE) wins the womens race in 1:43.02. The Swiss skiers Seraina Mischol und Selina Gasparin came second and third.

The qualification for a category remains valid for two years, no matter whether  or not you participate this year.

Elite

Start 8:40

FIS Marathon Cup skiers, members of national teams

The first percent of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the number of qualified half marathon com­petitors (cat. Elite).

Half marathon times which are in the first percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

Elite A

Start 8:40

Members of regional cross-country skiing teams as well as of national biathlon and ski orienteering teams.

2% to 6% of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the num­ber of qualified half marathon competitors (cat. Elite A).

Half marathon times which are in the first 2% to 6% percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

Elite B

Start 8:40

Members of regional cross-country skiing teams as well as of national biathlon and ski orienteering teams born in 1993.

7% - 12% of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the num­ber of qualified half marathon competitors (cat. Elite B).

Half marathon times which are in the first 7% to 12% percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

Elite C

Start 8:45

 

13% - 25% of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the num­ber of qualified half marathon competitors (cat. Elite C).

Half marathon times which are in the first 13% to 25% percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

Main class A

Start 8:50

 

26% - 50% of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the num­ber of qualified half marathon competitors (cat. main class A).

Half marathon times which are in the first 26% to 50% percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

Main class B

Start 9:05

Holders of a Worldloppet passport

51% - 75% of all ranked participants (21 km and 42 km) minus the num­ber of qualified half marathon competitors (cat. Hauptklasse B).

Half marathon times which are in the first 51% to 75% percent of the sum of the intermediate times of the marathon in Pontresina and the half marathon finishing times.

General Class

First-time competitors without proof of ranking

Other competitors

Holders of a Worldloppet passport intending to start in the category main class B have to inform the Engadin Skimarathon office or click the corresponding button with the online registration.

Other Competitors who offer proof of ranking with their entries (Swiss Loppet, Worldloppet or similar events) may be allowed to start in the front group. The request must be made by using the form “category change” before paying the starting fee. The event organiser has sole responsibility for determining the starting order.

Members of national/regional teams must enclose proof of their memberships with their entries.

Competitors who request a change of their starting position after it has already been issued automatically will be charged an administrative fee of CHF 40.--.
