52nd Engadin Skimarathon
On the second Sunday morning of March in Maloja in the Upper Engadin, the starting pistol for the Engadin Skimarathon will be fired.
Every year, Switzerland's largest sports event attracts around 14'000 cross-country fans from over 60 nations to the Upper Engadin valley.
On the 42 km long marathon route to S-chanf, the skiers move over frozen lakes, past typical Engadin villages and through a unique winter landscape.
Online registration for the 52nd Engadin Skimarathon and the 13th Engadin Half Marathon is open.
All ladies and gentlemen with birth year of 2003 and older are eligible for participation in the Engadin Skimarathon. Youths born in 2004 and 2005 are allowed to participate in the Engadin Half Marathon.
Youths born in 2004 and 2005 are allowed to start free at the 13th Engadin Half Marathon in 2020. The registration takes place via online form. The right to free registration is checked by means of an identity card (uploaded through the online form).
First-time participants can choose the starting block according to their expected race time. For an allocation into a starting blocks of the Elite to Elite C, a race result must be submitted by 25 February using the form start block change.
Start block division
First time attendees can choose between the categories Main Class A, B or C as well as General Class when registering online before the end of December. The regulations for the division into a front startblock are listed here.
It may happen that certain starting blocks are fully booked. In this case, you will be assigned to the next free starting block.
Provided there are still free slots available, online registration is possible until Friday, March 6th, 2020 at midnight. After this time you can only register until Saturday, March 7th, 2020 at 5pm, at the startin bib distribution in the Marathon-Village in Pontresina. The participant limit is 14,200 people. The organizer does not guarantee free slots.
The amount of the entry fee depends on the date of the receipt of payment.

The entry fee is excluding any transaction costs (e.g. credit card fees). The euro price can be adjusted at short notice depending on the exchange rate.

Personalized starting bib
If we receive the payment before February 14th, the name of the participant will be printed on the starting bib as a special souvenir gift. After this date, printing your name on the starting number is no longer possible.
If no cancellation insurance has been taken out and you cancel before the 31st of December, the paid starting fee will be credited to the next year's race (no refund). If you cancel after December 31st, no credit will be given. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance (eg. directly with online registration). The start authorization can be transferred to a replacement person for a fee of CHF 40.00 / EUR 35.00.

In the event of illness or accident, the insured person may submit a request for reimbursement against submission of a doctor's note to Europäische Reiseversicherungs AG. If the application is accepted, the insured will automatically receive a Datasport voucher equal to the insured amount.
With Marathon Deluxe, the Engadin Skimarathon becomes a real treat. Before the start, "Deluxe" participants at the Hotel Maloja Palace get breakfast and can stay warm until the race start. Personal effects can be dropped off directly in front of the hotel Maloja Palace in a separate effects bus. Separate access to the starting field eliminates the need to wait in the starting boxes. The "Deluxe" access takes place together with the opening of the first start box of the respective start block and allows premium access to the start field.
After arriving at the finish, personal effects are available next to the finish area and there are separate changing facilities available. Afterwards, the comfortable Marathon Chalet awaits - all drinks and food are included.
The seats are limited to 100 people. Precendence depends on the order in which the applications are received.

Note Engadin Half Marathon: The package is intended for participants of the Engadin Skimarathon. There is no price reduction for the Engadin Half Marathon.
