Marathon-Village Pontresina

At the centre of the cross-country mecca

The Marathon Village is located in Pontresina along the Via Maistra in the village centre. At the Rondo Congress Centre you will receive your starting bib for the Engadin Skimarathon, the Engadin Halfmarathon and the Engadin Night Race.

The Marathon-Village is the meeting place in the «Engadiner» Week.

The Marathon-Village will take place in Pontresina. Between the Rondo Culture and Congress Centre and the Plazza Bellavita, the Via Maistra invites you to stroll. During the following opening hours you will find product presentations, consultations and tests, waxtips, tastings, workshops, fan and souvenir sales, competitions, entertainment, games, live concerts and much more. Starting numbers can be pcked up at the Rondo Culture and Congress Centre during these opening hours.

Marathon Service

The Engadin Skimarathon service will take place on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 at 4:00 pm in the ref. church San Niculo in Pontresina, right next to the start number distribution and the village.
Sermon by Patrice J. Baumann (Refurmo) and Jonathan Stern (EFK Celerina) with musical entertainment from the Engadin. Afterwards, everyone is cordially invited to an aperitif.
 

 

Ski test

The ski test takes place in front of the cross-country skiing centre Pontresina, below the railway station.

There you will receive tips and tricks about the latest ski models from the ski manufacturers and can test the new models directly on the cross-country ski trail in Pontresina.

Getting to the Marathon-Village

Arrival by public transport

You can get there by train or the Engadin bus to Pontresina. From the train station you can reach the Marathon Village in a 10-minute walk or with the shuttle bus. The bus stop of the Engadin Bus (Punt Ota Sur) is right next to the Marathon-Village. The bus timetable can be found here.

Arrival by car

There are various signalized parking spaces available. Please follow the instructions of the traffic service. However, we recommend travelling by public transport.
