    Change of start wave

For changing to a different starting wave, a request must be submitted with the online form, after registration and receival of the entry fee. The allocation is made by the organizer and participants will be informed accordingly.

In principle, no requests will be processed for existing qualifications from participations in the past two years of competition. In this case, the qualification is determined by the results. Due to cancellations in 2020 and 2021, a change of starting wave can be requested, provided that participation in another Swiss Loppet or Worldloppet race took place in 2020 or 2021.

When requesting a starting wave change after the starting bib has been allocated, a processing fee of CHF 40.00  will be charged. The first starting bib allocation will take place at the beginning of January and then continuously thereafter.

The starting place can be postponed only two times. If you cancel after December 31st, no credit will be given. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance (eg. directly with online registration). The start authorization can be transferred to a replacement person until February 18th for a fee of CHF 40.00.

If participants who enter Switzerland from abroad have to remain in quarantine for at least 5 days due to official instructions and therefore cannot start the Engadin Skimarathon, Engadin Women's Race or Engadin Night Race, the entry fee will be carried over to the next year.
