14th Engadin Half Marathon
The online registration for the 52nd Engadin Skimarathon and 13th Engadin Halbmarathon 2022 is possible as of March 14th 2021.
All ladies and gentlemen with birth year of 2005 and older are eligible for participation in the Engadin Skimarathon. Youths born in 2006 and 2007 are allowed to participate in the Engadin Half Marathon.
Youths born in 2006 and 2007 are allowed to start free at the 13th Engadin Half Marathon in 2022. The registration takes place via online form. The right to free registration is checked by means of an identity card (uploaded through the online form).
First-time participants can choose the starting block according to their expected race time. For an allocation into a starting blocks of the Elite to Elite C, a race result must be submitted by 18 February at noon using the form start block change.
Start block division
First time attendees can choose between the categories Main Class A, B or C as well as General Class when registering online before the end of December. The regulations for the division into a front startblock are listed here.
It may happen that certain starting blocks are fully booked. In this case, you will be assigned to the next free starting block.
Provided there are still free slots available, online registration is possible until Friday, March 11th 2022 at midnight. After this time you can only register until Saturday, March 12th 2022 at 5pm, at the startin bib distribution in the Marathon-Village in Pontresina. The participant limit is 14,200 people. The organizer does not guarantee free slots.
The amount of the entry fee depends on the time of receipt of payment.

The entry fee is excluding any transaction costs (e.g. credit card fees). The euro price can be adjusted at short notice depending on the exchange rate.

- Arrival from a Rhaetian Railway station (only on presentation of the start number voucher)
- Free use of the Upper Engadin ski trails (valid from Thursday to Sunday)
- Passenger transport to the start and back from the finish (in the Upper Engadin)
- Personalized start number as a souvenir gift (provided the registration takes place before 14th February)
- Personal effects bag and transport
- Rental fee for timing chip
- Participants medal
- Snacks and drinks
- Wax and repair service on the track
- First-aid and massage service
- Showers at the finish in S-chanf
Personalized starting bib
If we receive the payment before February 13th, the name of the participant will be printed on the starting bib as a special souvenir gift. After this date, printing your name on the starting number is no longer possible.
If no cancellation insurance has been taken out and you cancel before the December 31st, the paid starting fee will be credited to the next year's race (no refund). If you cancel after December 31st, no credit will be given. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance (eg. directly with online registration). The start authorization can be transferred to a replacement person until February 18th for a fee of CHF 40.00 / EUR 35.00.
If participants who enter Switzerland from abroad have to remain in quarantine for at least 5 days due to official instructions and therefore cannot start the Engadin Skimarathon, Engadin Women's Race or Engadin Night Race, the entry fee will be carried over to the next year.
We recommend taking out cancellation insurance (eg. directly with online registration). In the event of illness or accident, the insured person may submit a request for reimbursement against submission of a doctor's note to Europäische Reiseversicherungs AG. If the application is accepted, the insured will automatically receive a Datasport voucher equal to the insured amount.
