16th Engadin Half Marathon
The participants of the Engadin Half Marathon will start on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at the same time as the full marathon skiiers.
The 21 km long route starts in Maloja and ends in Pontresina. The Engadin Half Marathon will be held for the 16th time next March.
Marathon participants have the opportunity to finish the race early in Pontresina. They are then counted together with the participants of the Half Marathon.

Online registration for the 55th Engadin Skimarathon and the 16th Engadin Half Marathon 2025 is open.
Online registration 2025
The online registration for the 55th Engadin Skimarathon and 16th Engadin Halbmarathon 2025 is possible as of March 10th 2024 at 04:00 pm.
Eligibility
All men and women with birth year of 2008 and older are eligible for participation in the Engadin Skimarathon. Youths born in 2009 and 2010 are allowed to start free at the Engadin Half Marathon. The right to free registration is checked by means of an identity card (uploaded through the online registration).
First-time participants can be seeded into the start wave due to their expected race time. For an allocation into an other start wave, a race result must be submitted using the form change of wave.
Registration only possible on site
The online registration is no longer possible. Registrations will only be accepted at the bib number distribution in Pontresina.

Competition rules
With the online registration you agree to the rules and regulations as well as the privacy policy of the Engadin Skimarathon.
Deadline
Provided there are still free slots available, online registration is possible until Thursday, March 6th 2025 at midday. After this time you can only register until Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 5pm, at the bib distribution in the Marathon-Village in Pontresina. The participant limit is 14,200 people. The organizer does not guarantee free slots.

The amount of the entry fee depends on the time of receipt of payment.

Details
The entry fee is excluding any transaction costs (e.g. credit card fees).
Included in the entry fee
- Arrival from a Rhaetian Railway station (only on presentation of the start number voucher)
- Free use of the Upper Engadin ski trails (valid from Thursday to Sunday)
- Passenger transport to the start and back from the finish (in the Upper Engadin)
- Personalized start number as a souvenir gift (provided the registration takes place before 14th February)

Personalized starting bib
If we receive the payment before February 14th, the name of the participant will be printed on the starting bib as a special souvenir gift. After this date, printing your name on the starting bib is no longer possible.
Cancellation
If no cancellation insurance has been taken out and you cancel before the December 31st, the paid starting fee will be credited to the next year's race (no refund). The starting place can be postponed only two times. If you cancel after December 31st, no credit will be given. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance (eg. directly with online registration). The start authorization can be transferred to a replacement person until February 16th for a fee of CHF 40.00. The organization reserves the right not to consider any applications after 16 February.
If participants who enter Switzerland from abroad have to remain in quarantine for at least 5 days due to official instructions and therefore cannot start the Engadin Skimarathon, Engadin Women's Race or Engadin Night Race, the entry fee will be carried over to the next year.
Cancellation insurance
We recommend taking our cancellation insurance (only possible directly with the online registration). In the event of illness or accident, you may submit a request for reimbursement by submitting a medical certificate to Europäische Reiseversicherungs AG. If the application is accepted, you will automatically receive a Datasport voucher equal to the insured amount.
