Important Information

16th Engadin Half Marathon

Training

The trails of the Engadin Skimarathon will be groomed throughout the winter as conditions permit. All registered skiers can use the trails free of charge from Thursday to Sunday before the Engadin Skimarathon.

Starting bib voucher

The starting bib voucher will be sent to all participants by e-mail at the end of February and must be presented at the starting bib distribution (on mobile phone or physically). The starting bib voucher can also be accessed via the personal Datasport login at www.datasport.com/myDS  (see messages). It is important that a current e-mail address was provided during online registration. If you did not receive an email, check your spam folder, check your Datasport account or contact the marathon office.

Heated tents in the starting area

We recommend that the participants arrive at the starting area a maximum of 60 to 80 minutes before the start time. There are two heated tents available to get out of the cold. Important: Queuing and waiting in front of the entrance to the start area does not bring any advantages, as the participants will be divided into the different waves after admission to the start area.

TOKO waxing service & tipp

The wax service on the track is available to all skiiers free of charge. At the start area there is a "Last Minute Wax Service" from Toko (spraying and polishing of cold waxes for skating skis, application of grip for classic skis) for a fee of CHF 10.00. Important: This service is intended for emergencies with changing weather conditions and the skis must have been prepared in advance. The service is offered between 6:00 am and 8:30 am. Last ski-in is at 8:20 am. No liability is assumed for changes to, or loss of skiis.

Timing chip

The timing chip is attached to the inside of the starting bib and will be taken at the finish line. If you do not participate in the race, we ask you to return the timing chip - either by mail (in a padded envelope) to the marathon office or during the race at the finish line in Pontresina or S-chanf .

Testing: All top brands are on site and invite you to test their newest equipment.
