Access for press professionals
To be part of the Engadin Skimarathon as a press representative, please fill out the accreditation form below and send it back by e-mail.
Pick up accreditation
Accreditations, photo wests, parking vignettes, etc. will be handed out exclusively on Saturday, 7th March 2026 between 4 and 5 p.m. at the Rondo in Pontresina.

Press room
The press room is located in the target area S-chanf in the building directly at the finish line and is exclusively available to the accredited media representatives (no service on the Engadin Night Race).
- Internet connections: Wi-Fi is available in the press room at the destination.
- Refreshment: Food and drinks are available in the press room (Engadin Skimarathon only)
Parking
On race Sunday there is no access to the start to Maloja. Reserved parking spaces are available to accredited media professionals in Sils-Föglias*. From there, the Media Shuttle Bus goes to Maloja. Departure: 7 am. Additionally, media professionals have the option to take the regular participant buses to the start in Maloja.The return transport takes place individually with each official participant bus. The chauffeur can be informed that he should stop in Sils-Föglias. Parking spaces are reserved and signaled at the destination in S-chanf *.
*Please note that only private vehicles with the official vignettes on the windscreen will be left for Sils or the finish area.
Interview zone
Immediately after the finish, an official interview zone will be set up. As soon as they pass the finish, the first six men and women will be picked up by specially designated supervisors and immediately taken to the interview zone. Media representatives have access to this zone only with the press / photo vest, which is issued at the accreditation.

TV footage
Engadin Skimarathon
SRG has the exclusive production rights in all accredited zones as host broadcaster of the Engadin Skimarathon and produces a TV signal according to international standards. If third parties are interested in the production of their own moving pictures in the accredited zone and the distribution of these pictures (via TV, online, social media, etc.), a filming permit must first be obtained from the SRG. Requests for a paid permit / authorization must be submitted in writing to the SRG at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. If you are interested in the artwork produced by SRG, third parties may also contact SRG directly.

Absolute drone ban
There is an absolute ban on drones at the Engadin Skimarathon. Drones are not allowed in the starting area, along the course or in the finish area. This applies to all races within the marathon week. Various other regulations in connection with drone flights also apply throughout the Upper Engadin. All information regarding drone flights in the Upper Engadin as well as exceptional permits can be found here.
In addition, the Federal Office of Civil Aviation FOCA has decided to adopt the European drone regulations of the EU as of 1 January 2023. What this means can be found here.
