The youth sprint is taking place for the 40st time this year. The popular cross-country skiing event for young people will be held in the Promulins Arena in Samedan. The sprint race gives the children and adolescents the opportunity to compete in a race.

Mode
Each participant starts at least 3 times over the attractive 800m cross sprint course. After each "heat", the participants are divided into new "heats" (up/down) according to their entry. Up to and including the third heat, everyone has the opportunity to qualify for the final. The first 50% after the third heat qualify for the final. The first three in each category will be awarded prizes and all participants will receive a nice souvenir prize.
