*Cross-Country Skiing Lessons: Schools can use a total of 4 cross-country skiing lessons to prepare for the Engadin Skimarathon. These can be either entirely individual or partially combined with Swiss Ski. For individual lessons, the teacher organizes the instruction and rental equipment near their school. The Engadin Skimarathon covers the costs for a maximum of 4 lessons (up to CHF 150 per lesson/group). The teachers decide when these lessons should take place, organize the instruction, and ensure that the invoice from the cross-country ski school is sent directly to the Engadin Skimarathon at the agreed conditions.

The 2 cross-country lessons with Swiss Ski take place on the Saturday before the Engadin Skimarathon. The lessons are, if possible, conducted by Swiss-Ski athletes; otherwise, they are taught by cross-country ski instructors. For this lesson, the teacher can register the school class via the registration form.

Material for the race day

Generally, all students are responsible for having cross-country skiing equipment available on the race day. If required, Swiss-Ski provides cross-country skiing equipment free of charge (by appointment only).

Provided material can be picked up in the week before the Engadin Skimarathon. It is recommended to pick up the material for the whole class. The equipment is distributed according to the principle «first come, first serve». Please contact Balz Helfenstein, the material manager of Swiss JULALA, directly when booking, to reserve the material and discuss the handover.

The material must be returned in the week after the Engadin Skimarathon. Again, it is recommended to organize the return of the material for the whole class at the same time. The skis are not specially prepared by Engadin Skimarathon for the run. Material that is not returned will be charged.
